The story of a Burgundian wasteland forgotten in the forest and a mysterious wine that has the power to awaken its life.

Manu, the owner of the domaine, had the same dream as his father. That is "creating a grand vin." To achieve this, he had long rented the moorland of Morpierre, believing it to be a great terroir, forgotten in the hills of Mâcon's Crudil. At that moment, Manu's dream becomes a reality. The land was for sale.
Around the same time, an old bottle of unlabeled wine was found at Manu's friend's house. I don't know anything about it except that the vintage is 1959. When I tried it, I was shocked - I've never had a wine like this before! Manu becomes completely captivated by this mysterious wine. No matter what, I have to find out the true identity of this wine!
For my father in heaven, I want to grow these grapes in Morpierre and make a ``Grand Vin.'' For this reason, Manu began to research wine obsessively.

About the Winery

Domaine Guillot - Broux

Domaine Guillot - Broux

The estate was created in 1954 by Pierre and Jeannine GUILLOT. In 1978 their son, Jean-Gérard Guillot, came back to Cruzille town with his wife and they created Domaine Guillot – Broux with only 1 hectar of vines. Today Emmanuel et Patrice Guillot, the third generation, is taking care of the family business.
