百年を超える古木と若木が共に息づく畑から生まれる、力強くもしなやかな赤。黒い果実とスミレの香りが広がり、細やかなタンニンと穏やかな酸が織りなす調和が美しい。熟成により深みを増し、ロワールの大地の息吹を感じさせる一本。

Tasting notes
深みのあるルビーレッドの色調。香りはブルーベリーやブラックチェリーなどの熟した黒系果実に、スミレ、カカオ、スパイスのニュアンスが重なり、時間とともにタバコ葉や土のようなミネラル香が立ち上がる。口に含むとしなやかなアタックで、果実の厚みと酸のバランスが絶妙。丸みを帯びたタンニンがワインに奥行きを与え、余韻には黒胡椒やドライハーブのニュアンスが長く残る。力強さとエレガンスを併せ持つ、トゥーレーヌのコーらしい個性豊かな一本。

Le Rocher des Violettes

Xavier Weisskopf studied winemaking in Chablis and Beaune, and after obtaining a degree in œnologie and viticulture, he worked for four years as cellar master at Château de Saint-Cosme in Gigondas. After four years as cellar master at Château de Saint-Cosme in Gigondas, he bought his first plot of 7ha and founded Le Rocher des Violettes in 2005.
