Tasting notes
深みのあるルビー色。グラスから立ち上る香りは、ブラックチェリーやカシスなどの黒系果実に、スミレ、杉、わずかな土や鉛筆の芯のニュアンスが重なり、複雑でエレガント。
口に含むと、しなやかで張りのある酸が骨格を支え、繊細なタンニンが心地よく広がる。
熟した果実味の奥に、樽由来のほのかなスパイスとロースト香が溶け込み、余韻にはミネラル感とハーブの清涼感が残る。
熟成により、より滑らかで優美な調和を見せるポテンシャルを秘めた、上質なカベルネ・フラン。

Le Rocher des Violettes

Xavier Weisskopf studied winemaking in Chablis and Beaune, and after obtaining a degree in œnologie and viticulture, he worked for four years as cellar master at Château de Saint-Cosme in Gigondas. After four years as cellar master at Château de Saint-Cosme in Gigondas, he bought his first plot of 7ha and founded Le Rocher des Violettes in 2005.
