Lône means small river. The wine is made by blending grapes cultivated separately in five terroirs, resulting in a wine characterized by its complexity. This is the very definition of Condrieu, a wine that exudes elegance and high energy.

It has an elegant aroma with a prominent citrus scent, a pleasant flavor on the palate, and overall is very easy to drink.

Technical Data

Sandy, shallow granite soil.
The vineyards are a blend of grapes from five different terroirs within the appellation (Jeanrode, Verrieux, Peyrolande, Sainte-Agathe and Basnons). The vineyards are located on steep slopes, facing south to southeast, overlooking the Rhône River. The planting density is high at 9,000 vines/ha, and all work is done by hand.

The grapes are hand-picked, pressed and the juice thoroughly clarified.
Alcoholic fermentation proceeds slowly at low temperatures, and malolactic fermentation is completed.
Aged for 10 months in 225L barrels (10% new barrels).
