A high-quality, affordable wine that clearly expresses Rioja Alavesa through the carbonic maceration method. Traditional production techniques from the region are used to create a modern, easy-to-drink wine with freshness and aromatic qualities. Made primarily from Tempranillo, the dominant grape variety of this area, with a small addition of Viura, a White grape that enhances the wine's freshness, this is an authentic village wine crafted from vineyards in Baños de Ebro.

Production

Cultivation

Grapes from various parcels in Baños de Ebro are used, allowing the wine to fully express the character of the village, much like French village wines. The vineyards are located at an altitude of 420–480 meters. The clay-limestone soils, combined with the continental climate of Baños de Ebro, create the ideal conditions for slow grape maturation.

Vinification

The traditional Rioja Alavesa method of carbonic maceration is employed. Grapes are fermented whole, without destemming, to preserve vegetal characteristics. The fermentation tanks are filled to the top to minimize oxygen exposure, and fermentation begins within the grapes themselves, through intracellular processes. This technique results in wines that are exceptionally fresh and fruity, with a translucent color and moderate alcohol levels.
