It is mainly made from Tempranillo, but also includes Graciano, Garnacha, and Palomino Fino. The name of the wine refers to the vineyard in Baños de Ebro, Álava, which is the origin of this cuvée. These lands were abandoned and on the verge of extinction but were revived through the effort, care, and dedication of Arturo. The vineyard produces an elegant wine with a very pleasant mineral touch. Located at an altitude of 530 meters above sea level in Baños de Ebro.
Owning & Enjoying

Tasting notes
A highly distinctive red wine. The aroma reveals intense notes of ripe black fruits with a subtle earthy undertones, complemented by hints of licorice and spices. On the palate, it offers a pleasant volume with slightly smooth, well-integrated tannins. The finish is long and persistent. Elegant, fruity, and spicy in character.

About the Winery

Artuke

Artuke is a family winery owned by the Miguel Blanco family and located in the town of Baños de Ebro. It has 17 hectares of vineyards in Rioja Alavesa, from which they produce wines with a distinct personality. Inheriting the tradition of their ancestors, Roberto decided to build the current winery in 1985, equipping it with the necessary technology and facilities to continue making their wines and meet their growing demand.
