This Pinot Noir from the northern tip of Burgundy boasts a refreshing, clear fruitiness and a refined, mineral-driven palate. Pure cherry and grosseille fruit flavors are layered with nuances of violet and black tea, while the delicate tannins derived from the whole bunch create an elegant finish. The understated oak aromas allow the individuality of the ingredients to shine through. This wine pairs exceptionally well with French cuisine, as well as duck, veal, and mushroom dishes. While its freshness in its youth is appealing, its classic style promises even greater harmony with several years of aging.
