We carefully select grapes from old Cencibel (Tempranillo) vines, harvested at the optimum time of ripeness.

Cencibel (Tempranillo) grapes from our own vineyards are carefully hand-picked and aged in French oak barrels. Ripe red fruit is layered with spices, cocoa, and vanilla, and supple tannins create a lingering finish. The balance between fruit and oak aromas is exquisite, making this a perfect pairing with grilled lamb or beef, or tomato stew. This wine's warm flavor is truly captivating.

Tasting Notes
Appearance is medium in colour with cherry red highlights on the edges.
The aroma is rich, with notes of ripe strawberries and plums, layered with subtle earthy notes and Mediterranean notes of fallen leaves and shrubs (thyme and rosemary).
There is also a hint of balsamic, and the finish leaves a sweet impression like strawberry jam.
The taste is firm and well-structured, yet juicy and fresh.
Along with a mouth-watering acidity, the aftertaste is pleasantly scented with strawberries, herbs, and balsamic vinegar.
This red wine is easy to drink, fresh and full of character.

Technical Data

Cencibel (Tempranillo) from old vines in our own fields is harvested at the optimum time of full ripeness.
The grapes are grown in fields with calcareous soil at an altitude of 640m.

Vinification
The destemmed grapes are fermented at 24°C in 10,000L stainless steel tanks.
After fermentation, the wine is aged for three months in twice-used French oak barrels and then for five months in 4,500L terracotta jars.
After bottling, the wine is aged in the bottle for at least six months before being released.
