Collection: Bodegas Verum
Wine Filled with the “Truth” of La Mancha
Verum is located in Tomelloso, in the La Mancha region of Spain.
The winemaking history of the López-Montero family, from whom Verum originates, dates back to 1788, when their first winery in Tomelloso was officially registered. In 1963, Juan Antonio López Ramírez and María Victoria Montero founded Altosa, which continues to this day to produce and market both wines and spirits.
In 2005, María Victoria, together with her children María Belén, Juan Antonio, Pedro José, and Elías, established Bodegas y Viñedos Verum. The brand represents wines that embody the finest vineyards and terroirs owned by the López-Montero family.
At Verum, there is a deep conviction that
They believe that wine should genuinely reflect the history of both the land and the family. Their pursuit of quality goes hand in hand with remaining faithful to their philosophy, their terroir, and their heritage. Some of their wines are classic, others more innovative, yet all possess a distinct personality.
“Verum” means “truth” in Latin — and that is exactly what the winery strives to express.
Please enjoy a bottle filled with these authentic “truths.”
