Tasting notes
The aroma of ripe black cherry and plum is layered with nuances of violet, sandalwood, and smoky oak.

On the palate, silky tannins and rich fruitiness spread, with hints of black pepper and cocoa leading to a long aftertaste.

A wine that combines power and delicacy, exuding the elegance typical of Pomerol.

It can be enjoyed now, but will gain even more complexity with a few years of aging.

About the Winery

Château Petit Village

Château Petit Village

Located on the right bank of the Gironde River, in the heart of the hills of Pomerol, Château Petit Village is known for its winemaking that combines an unparalleled terroir with a sophisticated winemaking philosophy. Although the site is only 10.5 hectares, the entire area is arranged as a continuous triangular vineyard, and the soil, which is a complex mixture of clay and gravel, produces rich and expressive wines that are unique to this region. Grape cultivation has further evolved in recent years, and was converted to fully organic in 2020. The Merlot and Cabernet Franc, grown in harmony with the natural environment, combine concentrated fruitiness with clean acidity and supple tannins, allowing you to feel the breath of the vineyard every time you pour it into a glass. In the cellar, we respect tradition, but also incorporate the latest technology to carry out innovative winemaking. Small-scale fermentation that maximizes the individuality of each plot, and aging in French oak create wines with elegance and fine structure. The perfect blend of refinement and simplicity, Château Petit Village is a must-have for any wine lover looking for a bottle that truly represents the magic of Pomerol. Its charm unfolds slowly over time, ensuring a lingering and unforgettable experience.
