Tasting Notes
Deep ruby color.

The aroma that rises from the glass is rich in complexity, with blackberry and cassis fruits as well as cedar, licorice, tobacco and a slight hint of graphite.

In the mouth, the ripe fruit flavor blends with supple tannins, creating a well-balanced composition.

The aftertaste is quietly marked by aromas of earth and spices, leaving a strong impression of classic Graves.

A wine that combines strength and elegance, reflecting the great vintage of 2005.

Technical Data

Harvesting and sorting: After hand-picking, leaves and dried berries are removed using a vibrating sorting table and optical sorting machine.

Fermentation: Since 2005, fermentation has been carried out in stainless steel tanks under temperature control using selected yeasts.

Fermentation period: Approximately 20 days.

Malolactic fermentation: This is carried out after alcoholic fermentation.

Blending: Blending is done after malolactic fermentation and before barrel aging.

Aging: Aged for 14 to 16 months in French oak barrels. More than 70% of the barrels used are made in-house, in collaboration with Seguin Moreau and others.
