Planted in 1949. Schist and chalcedony soil. Grapes planted in two terroirs are harvested together. This results in a mixture of grapes at different ripeness levels, with the earliest ripe grapes being used as the standard. This characteristic gives the wine dynamism and energy. It transcends the richness of typical Vin Doux Naturel and establishes a style that strongly asserts the individuality of the soil. An energetic wine.

Domaine le Roc des Anges
Roc Des anges was founded in Febuary 2001. A Carignan vine planted on a vein of quartz is biheind the origin of the name. a white soil surrounded by black schist: the “Lieu-Dit” is called “Roc Blanc” which translates as White Rock. Angels where chosen to symbolize the vein of quartz, and Roc Blanc became Roc Des Anges (Roc of the Angles).
