A Wine Called "Once Upon a Time"

The expression “il y a belle lurette” means "once upon a time."

The wine, made from rare fruits harvested from ancient and valuable grapevines, is noble yet lively, fresh, and smooth.
Owning & Enjoying

Tasting notes
Very ripe cherry aroma, dried flowers and a certain stone-like minerality. Elegant and refined medium body. Light on the palate, with a gorgeous and rich aroma like Herbes de Provence. The moderate tannin coating expresses the wine's unique character.

Pairing
They all go well with gourmet dishes, such as grilled pork with sage or duck cassoulet.

Production

No sorting of stems. The fruit is carefully placed in small cement barrels for fermentation. The wine is vinified in stainless steel barrels. Strict temperature control. No oak is used.
