平均樹齢45年、優雅さと美しいブーケで常に高く評価されるキュヴェ。キャレルはフランス語で「四角形」を意味し、ヴォルネイの美しい16世紀の礼拝堂のすぐ下に位置する。深いルビー色にガーネット色の煌めき。良く熟した小さな赤い果実の繊細で、エレガントなアロマにオリエンタルスパイス、すみれ、そしてほのかなミネラリティが感じられる。

Tasting notes
A deep ruby color with garnet highlights. The delicate and elegant aromas of well-ripened small red fruits are complemented by hints of oriental spices, violets, and a hint of minerality. The palate is rich and smooth, with elegant, velvety tannins. The beautiful, long finish carries a slight sourness that fades slowly.

Pairing
With its elegant texture, this wine is ideal for pairing with roasted chicken, quail stuffed with porcini and foie gras, or veal confit. It also pairs exceptionally well with triple-cream cheeses like Brillat-Savarin and Chaource.
