This organically grown Grenache grape is grown in the ancient alluvial soils of the Rhône River, and the diverse layers of the soil provide excellent drainage, resulting in a concentrated fruit flavor. The low-temperature fermentation and minimal intervention allow for a harmonious blend of the gorgeous flavors of strawberry and blackcurrant with the aroma of spice, creating a rich flavor that complements meals.

Tasting Notes
A beautiful clear garnet colour, reminiscent of young Burgundy.
The nose is a complex blend of ripe cherry and garrigue (Mediterranean shrub herbs) such as thyme and bay leaf.

In the mouth, the flavor of fresh red fruits spreads like a burst of air, making it very approachable and refreshing. It has beautiful acidity and is very elegant and pleasant to the touch.

Technical Data

Cultivation
The vineyards are situated on the plain between the hills of Cairanne and Rasteau and the Dent de Montmirai, with views over the Gigondas and Vacqueyras hills.
Located on an old alluvial plain of the Rhône River, the rich soil contains many pebbles, rocks, gravel and clay, and its irregular structure allows for excellent drainage, making it an ideal environment for growing grapes.
The fields are managed entirely organically and are AB certified.
All the vines are tied together to facilitate selection and allow the wind to play its role effectively.

brewing
The harvest is mechanical, except for 0.5 hectares. A rigorous grape pre-sorting is carried out before the harvest. The wine is vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, allowing the essence of the Grenache fruit to emerge. There is no cold, long maceration or heavy filtration. The wine is aged for a further 6 months in enamelled concrete tanks before bottling.
