Tasting Notes

The appearance is a deeply matured garnet color, with an orange hue visible at the rim. The aroma is a complex layering of mature notes such as tanned leather, sous-bois (undergrowth), forest floor, black tea, and dried flowers, with lingering hints of red fruits in the background. On the palate, the tannins are completely rounded, and the acidity, while gentle, still retains its core. A rich and flavorful taste spreads through the mouth along with mellow fruitiness. The finish is long, with spices and the scent of aged forest quietly lingering. It is now at its peak drinking window, a wine to be savored for the complex aromatic changes that only an aged wine can offer.
