This sweet Maury is the Montagnier family's masterpiece. It's crafted from Grenache grapes grown on the south-facing hills in the heart of Combe del Rey. The vineyard's sunny orientation earned it the nickname "Soleilla." The soil is black schist marl. The "Mouté-sur-Grand" fermentation method, in which alcohol is added during fermentation to stop the fermentation, is used. The wine is aged in a protected environment, then bottled after 12 months in concrete tanks.

Tasting Notes
Aromas of cacao, plum, dried fruit and coffee. When you put it in your mouth, you will be surprised by its delicacy, slight sweetness and long aftertaste. All the aromas are wonderfully harmonized and linger in your mouth. After aging for 12 months in concrete tanks, it is bottled.

Terroir

This wine is made from Grenache Vieilles Vignes vineyards located on south-facing slopes in the heart of Clos del Rey. The black schist mudstone soil is ideal for ripening Grenache and producing modern, intense Maury full of black fruit. The vineyard is so exposed to the sun that it has been nicknamed "Solar" (the sun).
