As it ages, nuances of roasted hazelnuts and spices emerge. The palate is direct, combining freshness, individuality, a sap-like concentration, and finesse. Layers of citrus, white peach, and a flinty minerality are intricately interwoven, while a taut acidity and a long, saline finish tighten the whole. This wine, from Chassagne-Montrachet's esteemed Premier Cru "Vergers," offers exceptional concentration and mineral definition. Technical Data

Producer: Pierre Vincent Girardin, son of Vincent Girardin. A rising star from a prominent Burgundian family with 13 generations of winemaking history, he established his own domaine in 2017.
Vineyard: "Les Vergers," a renowned Premier Cru vineyard in Chassagne-Montrachet. Limestone soil situated on a slope.
Cultivation: Practices organic farming and incorporates biodynamic methods. Aims for minimal intervention.
Training System: Since 2019, has implemented a high trellis system (1.6m - 1.7m). This optimizes photosynthesis and enhances fruit ripeness, allowing for earlier harvests and achieving a balance of remarkable freshness and acidity.
Winemaking: For white wine aging, uses specially designed 456-liter barrels to preserve freshness and minimize barrel influence. Sulfite (SO2) use is also kept to a minimum.
Winemaking Philosophy: Avoids filtration and fining, striving to express the Burgundian terroir as authentically as possible.
