This rare cuvée is crafted from only the clearest first-press juice. The maverick who redefined Mâcon carefully selected this from old vines in Chavigne, located at a high altitude. A taut minerality reminiscent of flint and oyster shells forms the backbone,貫徹 concentrated white peach and pear fruit flavors. Yet, the palate is as smooth as silk. Lively acidity extends through to the finish, creating a pearl-like white wine with a tension and transparency comparable to Grand Cru.

Tasting Notes
Pale lemon yellow. Aromas of orange oil, citrus peel, toasted bread, and pear rise from the glass. Notes of red apple like Kougyoku, peach skin, and light walnut add to a focused and elegant profile. Medium to full-bodied, with overwhelming concentration and completeness, yet a seamless and penetrating flavor. Lively acidity underpins the wine, concluding with a long, saline finish. It possesses magnificent acidity and a mineral line that rivals its richness, with a length of finish comparable to many Premier Crus of the Côte d'Or.
