In 1989, he inherited the family's 2,000 vines in Marina Baixia and founded Bodega Enrique Mendoza, which today covers 100 hectares.

Although most of the wines are made from imported varieties, the Domaine is a major producer of high-quality wines in DO Alicante and today represents the Mediterranean region as a leading producer of premium wines.
