[An artistic wine that reflects the soul of Savoie]

Adrien Berlioz, cousin of Gilles Berlioz, founded the Domaine in Viviers in 2006 and is a man of great talent and ambition.

In the vineyards, they practice rigorous, uncompromising work, and have adopted organic farming in all of their approximately 5 hectares of vineyards, including one located in the small village of Chignan, at an altitude of 390m, a beautiful mosaic of Savoie. Even the vines on the steep slopes are cultivated using biodynamic methods (Demeter certified in 2020).

The vineyards are on hard rock and limestone soils with steep slopes, sometimes up to 50%, and are cultivated with typical Savoie grape varieties: Jacquere, Artès, Malvoisy, Belgian (Roussanne), Mondeuse and Persin, all without the use of chemical fertilisers.

In his cellar, he vinifies his wines without using sulfites, using a variety of fermentation tanks. His energetic, diverse and honest cuvées, which are produced in limited quantities and extremely hard to find, are admired for their modernity yet rooted in the Savoie identity. They steadily evolve and age gracefully every year, and thanks to his hard work and his qualitative approach to biodynamic farming, he has become one of Savoie's most renowned wine producers today.

He produces 14 different cuvées from a vineyard of just over 5 hectares, so production is extremely limited, and wines made with the same level of artisanal skill as his are currently difficult to come by.

From bottles filled with elegance and purity, Adrien's wines offer endless pleasure, bursting with deep, evocative juices full of finesse and length. Each cuvée ages gracefully, admiring its diversity, energy and straightforwardness. Year after year, the winery confirms its position as one of the region's finest producers and serves as a model for young winemakers aiming to reach even greater heights in the Alps.
