輝きのあるアンバーゴールドに、縁はまだ淡いレモンイエロー。アカシア蜂蜜やカリン、ドライアプリコット、洋梨のコンポートに続き、貴腐由来のサフランや蜜蝋、カルダモン、ウーロン茶のようなニュアンスが現れます。豊かな甘みを1996年特有の張りのある酸が支え、ル・モンらしい研ぎ澄まされたミネラルが余韻を引き締めます。フォアグラのテリーヌやロックフォールとともに。
Tasting note
When poured into a glass, it has a sparkling amber gold color. While it has amber nuances derived from aging, the rim still retains a pale lemon yellow, indicating healthy aging. The nose is highly multi-layered. The rich initial impression of acacia honey, quince, dried apricots, and pear compote is followed by nuances of saffron and beeswax from noble rot, a hint of cardamom, and oolong tea. Aging adds further complexity with chalky, cool mineral notes and smoky flint tones. The palate is surprisingly dense. While possessing a rich sweetness derived from residual sugar, the taut acidity characteristic of the 1996 vintage creates a structure, providing ideal tension and persistence. The texture is thick yet not heavy, and the refined minerality typical of the Le Mont parcel tightens the aftertaste. The finish is long, with nuances of bergamot, honey, and saltiness, suggesting impressive aging potential and elegance.

Because these are beverages, we are generally unable to accept returns or exchanges for reasons of personal preference. Please order with care.
Even with chilled delivery, a rapid change in temperature can cause slight seepage. This does not affect the quality of the wine, and we are unable to offer an exchange or refund in such cases. Every bottle is visually checked before packing.
Where the fault is ours, returns and exchanges are accepted within 7 days of delivery.
We are unable to help after that period, so thank you for your understanding.
Return postage
Where the fault is ours — a faulty bottle or the wrong item — we cover the cost of return. Returns and exchanges for reasons of personal preference are not accepted.
Faulty items
If anything arrives faulty, we will replace it with a new bottle or an equivalent, subject to availability.

Full refund
If an event is cancelled by the organiser, or cannot be held because of a natural disaster or other unforeseen circumstance, we refund in full.
No refund
For cancellations by the customer, we refund in full up to 3 days before the event; after that, no refund is available.
