This truly breathtaking bottle combines outstanding freshness, suppleness, and robust expressiveness. It evokes a peaty aroma, described as oily, herbal, or even medicinal, and its aromatic palette is also full of exotic brilliance. As if pushed by the sea breeze, the finish ultimately arrives at the eastern shore of Loch Indaal on the Isle of Islay.

About the ARTIST Collection

Created in 2011 by La Maison du Whisky, this special collection focuses exclusively on single casks bottled at cask strength, showcasing exceptional single malts with a unique presence. It features vintage expressions aged 10, 15, 20, 25 to 30 years, and sometimes even older.
This series draws inspiration from the artistic world of Gesine Arps, a German-born painter, sculptor, and poet (born 1964). Guided by dreamlike and sensual meditation, her works are adorned with natural pigments, crystal powders, gold and silver leaf, blending botanical motifs, animal figures, human silhouettes, and diverse symbolism.

Profile: Delicate and refined style.

Nose: Rich and elegant. Peat, olive, pear, walnut, grapefruit, green pepper, kiwi, passion fruit.

Palate: Noble and light. Licorice, twigs, vanilla, wax, mirabelle, pear, mint.

Finish: Long and refined. Havana, prune cake, lemon tart, balm, camphor.
