Welcoming Rudolf Frerejean Taittinger, Head of the House

Frerejean Frères is a family-owned Champagne House based in Avize, at the heart of the Côte des Blancs. Each of their cuvées embodies a unique story, nurtured by the legacy of the two families inherited by brothers Guillaume and Rudolf Frerejean Taittinger.

Now, Rudolf Frerejean Taittinger, head of the House and heir to the prestigious Taittinger family, is visiting Japan. He will be holding a special seminar at the Riedel Aoyama flagship store's tasting studio.

This is a rare opportunity to hear directly from the head of the House about the philosophy of the Maison and the passion of the makers behind each cuvée.

The Frerejean Frères House

Born in the heart of the Côte des Blancs, the House continues the Champagne tradition of pursuing excellence. With patience, skill, and respect for the terroir, each cuvée is crafted to bring out the pure expression of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

Its most distinctive feature is that Champagne is designed as a "wine for food." Through long aging and precise dosage, its flavors complement gourmet dishes, seafood, creamy cuisine, and even modern dishes. The rare depth and unique signature born from slow aging on lees stand out for their finesse, complexity, and elegance.

The true essence of Frerejean Frères lies in combining family heritage with definite modernity, embodying the French art de vivre (art of living) in the most beautiful bubbles.
