Tasting note

The deep ruby color reveals hints of garnet, and the beauty of its aging is conveyed visually. The aroma is complex, with blackberry and dark cherry notes layered with subtle hints of cedar, damp forest undergrowth, and truffle. On the palate, silky, fine tannins spread, harmonizing ripe fruit with subtle spice and cocoa aromas. The acidity is gentle and well-balanced, and the long, lingering finish combines power and elegance. A classic and sophisticated Pomerol masterpiece worth savoring over time.

Food pairing

Roast veal, duck confit, aged hard cheese
