Chateauneuf-du-Pape Barberini Blanc 2020 Domaine de la Solitude

Châteauneuf-du-Pape - Barberini blanc 2020

Tasting note

Pale yellow colour with golden hues. The aroma that rises from the glass is rich, with white peach, apricot, and pear fruits layered with acacia flowers, honey, hazelnut, and a hint of toast. When you put it in your mouth, the thickness of the ripe fruit and the smooth texture of the Roussanne spread, and the vanilla and minerality from the barrel are in perfect harmony. The finish is long, with subtle aromas of white pepper and marmalade. This white wine combines power and elegance, and has great ageing potential.
