Chateau Smith Haut Lafite Rouge 2016 Pessac-Léognan

Château Smith Haut Lafitte Rouge

Tasting note

The Château Smith Haut Lafite 2016 has a deep, almost black color and a wonderfully complex nose: refined fruit aromas of blackberry, black cherry, and raspberry harmonize with subtle floral nuances, gentle spice, and subtle hints of star anise, smoke, and flint. The palate is powerful, elegant and irresistible. The attack is balanced and richly concentrated, dense and fresh. With its rich aromas of fruit, flowers, spice and smoke, the 2016 vintage is a true masterpiece, combining volume, concentration, power, refinement, freshness and complexity.

Food pairing

Roasted red meat, game dishes, truffle risotto
