JACQUESSON - CHAMP CAIN

Tasting note

An extremely refined Champagne, polished by long lees aging. Aromas of dry pear, chamomile, dried flowers, and light hazelnut emerge, and with time, the mineral and austere character typical of Avize reveals itself. It has a creamy flavor reminiscent of lemon curd and brioche, with an added depth that is almost cheese-like, and delicate bubbles. On the palate, light fruitiness supported by lively acidity and the tension of citrus are pleasant, leading to a fresh, mineral-driven finish. This non-dosé wine highlights a clear outline and focused tension, resulting in a remarkably concentrated and precise bottle.

Food pairing

Grilled Norwegian lobster Roasted sea bass Alpine cheeses such as aged Comté
