Espurrna 2013

Tasting note

Deep ruby red colour. The aroma that rises from the glass is multi-layered, with notes of fruits such as black cherries and plums, layered with dried herbs, licorice, smoky minerals, and a hint of black pepper. In the mouth, the fine tannins and supple acidity create a beautiful balance, with a calm, mature feel coexisting with a clear fruitiness. The finish is long-lasting, with minerals reminiscent of iron from the black stone and schist soil, resulting in an elegant finish with quiet power.

Food pairing

Roasted duck breast Grilled Lamb with Herbs Ratatouille and Herb Sausage
