Naramata Ranch Pinot Noir 2022 Martin's Lane Winery

Naramata Ranch Pinot Noir

70% whole cluster, moved by gravity: a silky single-vineyard Pinot Noir.

A single-vineyard Pinot Noir from two geologically distinct parcels at the northern end of the Naramata Bench, shaped by Okanagan Lake. Dijon clones 667 and 943 and Pommard are fermented spontaneously in concrete with 70% whole clusters, macerated for 28 days and aged 16 months in extra-tight-grain French and Austrian oak. The estate calls 2022 "the strongest vintage in our history — by far": a long, drawn-out autumn brought perfect ripening and a late harvest. Sultry, dark and warm aromas give way to a generous, silky, opulent palate.
