Grands Échezeaux Grand Cru 1993 Dominique Laurent

Dominique Laurent Grands-Échézeaux Grand Cru 1993

Tasting note

This is a bottle that highlights the elegance that only Pinot Noir can have after long aging. Dried rose, violet, and ripe raspberry are layered with nuances of black truffle, damp forest undergrowth, and black tea leaves, creating a deep worldview with just the scent. The palate is surprisingly silky, with delicate fruitiness complemented by fine acidity, creating a classic style in which the flavor unfolds in layers over time. The tannins are perfectly blended, and the aftertaste is long-lasting, with notes of spice, minerals from the soil, and aged aromas, giving it a taste that truly embodies the dignity of a Grand Cru.
