Candied red fruit and spice, an approachable Châteauneuf.

Mas Saint Louis' classic Châteauneuf-du-Pape red. From sandy soils with rounded pebbles, 80% Grenache is blended with 10% Mourvèdre, 5% Syrah and 5% Cinsault. Three weeks of traditional vinification in concrete tanks, with 20% of the wine aged in foudres for 12 months. Ruby with violet rims, with candied small red fruit and spicy, toasty notes. Ample on the palate, with a firm structure and fine tannins that make it an unusually approachable Châteauneuf, finishing long, fragrant, fine and elegant.
