Chablis 2023 Maison de la Chapelle

Chablis 2023

Tasting note

Pale lemon yellow in color. The glass is filled with a refined and pure aroma of fresh fruit such as lemon, green apple, and pear, layered with mineral nuances reminiscent of white flowers, crushed lime, and oyster shells. Over time, nuances of fennel and subtle yeast-derived brioche emerge, adding depth. The palate is structured with firm acidity and a linear minerality, and while the texture is firm, the taste is pure and well-balanced with the fruit. The aftertaste is long and chalky with a salty taste, clearly expressing the characteristics of this terroir. While it can be enjoyed young, further development can be expected with several years of bottle aging.

Food pairing
