Gigondas Rosé 2025 Domaine Saint Damien

Gigondas Rosé 2025

A Cinsault-led Gigondas rosé made for the table.

A Gigondas rosé led by Cinsault (50%), with Grenache 20%, Syrah 20% and Mourvèdre 10%, from the La Moutte parcel on the appellation's middle terraces of red sandy clay and broken stones. Six hours of cold maceration are followed by a gentle pneumatic pressing, with fermentation at 16°C and ageing in stainless steel. Pale salmon pink, with wild strawberry, white peach and a hint of herbs and white pepper. Supple, with citrus freshness and a saline, mineral finish – a rosé to enjoy with food.

Tasting note

Pale salmon pink colour. The aroma is a blend of fresh fruit such as wild strawberry and white peach, with subtle hints of herbs and white pepper. The palate is smooth, with a balanced spread of fresh red fruits and citrus acidity, and the aftertaste is finished with a salty minerality that tightens the aftertaste. An elegant rosé with a refined structure that should be enjoyed with meals.
