Tasting note

Aromas of white flowers and dried citrus fruits. Layers of white peach and white flowers, with a mineral feel and subtle toasty aroma. The firm acidity supports the dense and attractive flavor, leading to a long and elegant finish.

Winemaking & technical data

Made from hand-picked fruit from a single vineyard in the Wairau valley.
After whole-cluster pressing, the wine is cooled and settled overnight, then partially fermented in oak barrels and stainless steel tanks with wild yeasts. It is aged on the lees for 10 months in French oak (20% new barrels) and foudres, then blended and bottled.
