Tasting note

It has a deep ruby ​​color and exudes sophisticated aromas of violets and fine leather. The texture is silky, with a smooth mouthfeel reminiscent of fine linen or soft leather. The fruit is powerful, combining seriousness and sensuality, with nuances of herbs and blood orange on the finish. Its complex flavor makes it a magnificent wine that is on par with Burgundy's outstanding wines.

Clay-limestone soil on a northwest-facing slope.

The Clos des Lévêches, which has been planted as a vineyard since the late Middle Ages, surrounds the domaine.

Vinification

Harvest date: September 10, 2023
Mechanical harvest with sorting. After destemming, the grapes are transferred to tanks using gravity.
After pre-maceration at low temperature, alcoholic fermentation is carried out under automated temperature control.
16 days maceration.
Aged for 12 months in 500 litre oak barrels.
After light filtration, it will be bottled in November 2024.
