Tasting note

A very open aroma with vibrant notes of red fruits (raspberry, strawberry) and black fruits (blackberry, cassis). Nuances of sweet spices, licorice, and tobacco leaves are also felt, giving a complex yet fresh impression. The palate is well-balanced, refreshing and vibrant. It has a firm concentration, yet a pleasantly smooth texture, creating perfect harmony. It is full of lively energy and has a long finish. The wine offers a wide range of flavors, from fresh fruit to spices, cigar box, and even a smoky minerality that reflects the Graves terroir. It is a very complex and appealing wine, combining harmony and smoothness.

Winemaking & technical data

Vinification: Whole bunch fermentation in small wooden fermenters (28°C), gentle extraction by hand (punching down)

Aging: 18 months in oak barrels (60% of which are new oak barrels from the Château) and on the lees. Only one racking and aging adjusted according to the characteristics of the wine.
