Tasting note

It has an impressive, vibrant aroma of red fruits, and a subtle hint of spice lingers throughout the mouth. Refined acidity creates tension, softly balanced by silky tannins and a refined structure. This is a wine that is easy to enjoy right now, but also has the potential to age well.

Food pairing

Bone-in rib roast Braised short ribs in red wine Braised mushrooms

Winemaking & technical data

The grapes are gently destemmed and optically sorted to select only the best berries. Grapes are gravity transferred to fermentation tanks for a maximum of 5 days of cold soak. Fermentation temperatures are kept below 28°C and gentle pumping over and punching down is used. After 30 days of tank aging, malolactic fermentation takes place spontaneously in new French oak.
Aging: 12 months in 40% new French oak barrels
