Bourgogne La Myotte 2020 Domaine Guillot-Broux

Bourgogne - la Myotte

Tasting note

Deep ruby in color, the aroma is of ripe cherry and raspberry, with floral nuances of violet and rose, and subtle vanilla and spice from the oak. When you put it in your mouth, the pure sweetness of the fruit and supple acidity are in harmony, and you can feel the delicate yet solid structure. The finish is long-lasting, with a mineral feel and the delicious flavor of aging, quietly speaking of the classic and elegant charm of Burgundy.

This is the oldest Pinot Noir parcel. The current winemaker's grandfather travelled to Pommard to retrieve the graftings and replanted it with this noble, yet temperamental, variety. For this reason, this cuvée is only bottled in great vintages.
