Pauillac from the sun-blessed 2018 vintage. Ripe blackcurrant and black cherry on the nose, shaded with graphite, cedar, cocoa and spice. The palate is dense and smooth, layering concentrated black fruit against the toast of the barrel. Powerful without ever becoming heavy, held in check by a trim frame and refined tannins. A classed-growth château to enjoy for its present polish and for what the next decade will bring.

This vintage boasts a plump and rich style, yet it is well-balanced with acidity and tannins, resulting in a wine that combines modern brilliance with a classic structure.
