CHATEAU LA MISSION HAUT-BRION 1986

Tasting note

A deep garnet color with a slight orange rimming exudes the beauty of aging. The aroma is concentrated with blackberry and cassis, layered with smoky notes of truffle, tobacco, and cedar, creating a complex and captivating bouquet. On the palate, silky, rounded tannins spread, perfectly balanced with the acidity. The latter half reveals the toasty aromas of aging and hints of earth and mushroom, resulting in a long, pleasantly lingering finish. An elegant and harmonious masterpiece, truly worthy of the taste of a mature, classic Bordeaux.

Food pairing

Roasted duck breast with red wine sauce, truffle mushroom risotto, aged hard cheese
